We’re curious how different organizations are using Time‑Phased Forecasting and managing updates to forecasts.

* ⏱️ Are you actively using Time‑Phased Forecasting?
* 🔄 Can updates push directly to the Live Forecast, or is approval required?
* 👥 Who owns forecast updates — PMs, Project Controls, or both?
* 🔐 Any controls in place to avoid unintended Live changes?

Yes, we’re actively using Time‑Phased Forecasting. Some cost items still require manual adjustments, and for certain cases we upload time‑phasing using the InEight template.

* 🔄 Can updates push directly to the Live Forecast, or is approval required?

Updates can push to the Live Forecast, but only the Project Controls team has that level of access.

* 👥 Who owns forecast updates — PMs, Project Controls, or both?

Project Controls owns the forecast updates in the platform, but only after alignment meetings with all stakeholders, including the PMs.

* 🔐 Any controls in place to avoid unintended Live changes?

To avoid unintended changes, full access is limited to the Project Controls team, while other stakeholders use dashboards to view updates without editing.

This is a great discussion, and I’m really interested to see how others are handling the same challenges. It’s always helpful to compare approaches and learn what’s working across different teams
