Day Six marks the start of Week Two in our 10 Days of Feature Favorites series. I’m Nate St. John, VP of Product and GTM at InEight, and today’s feature focuses on equipping our users with tools to better consolidate feedback, resolve gaps, and commit scheduling updates with confidence.
Feature: Schedule Review Cycle
Product: InEight Schedule
Where to Find It: Schedule Drop-Down Menu → Manage Review Cycle
I love this feature because it helps you validate your plan and gather feedback by initiating a Review Cycle. You can capture buy-in, push-back, and schedule updates by inviting domain experts to contribute their insights to specific areas of the schedule. Each invitation includes a link that takes recipients directly to Markup View, a dedicated space for commenting and marking up the schedule. Once all markup sessions are complete, feedback consolidates in Schedule Review, where teams can address areas with low consensus, resolve scope confusion, document assumptions, and lay the groundwork for risk assessments. Finally, you can seamlessly commit approved changes back to the master schedule.
Question for the Community: What possibilities have you seen open up when your review cycles bring all feedback, markups, and insights into one unified workflow?
