It’s Friday here in the States, so let’s shift away from work conversations and share a bit about the things that make life meaningful outside the office.
This week, we’re talking traditions. For some, this season brings holidays and rituals; for others who celebrate at different times, or not at all, it’s simply a moment to slow down, reconnect, or enjoy routines that have nothing to do with a work calendar.
What’s one tradition (seasonal or otherwise) that brings you a sense of comfort and meaning?
Attached is a picture of younger me on Christmas Eve, fully convinced Santa would skip our house because we didn’t have anything for the top of our tree. My mom left the room and came back with an old Rudolph toy, literally ripped its head off, and placed it on top of the tree. Many moons later, it remains our tree topper every year, a small reminder of how simple moments often become the ones you cherish most.
