Re: Join Us This Thursday to Strengthen Collaboration Across Your Project Teams
I thought Brittany and Michael did a good job of show casing the collaboration efforts from field team members up to project executives.
🏆 Introducing the InEight Project Championship! 🏆
We’re excited to announce the launch of the InEight Project Championship! This customer-only, bracket-style tournament is designed to spotlight the industry’s most elite construction projects and we want to feature yours!
Nominate a recently completed (or nearly completed) project that uses at least one InEight module for a chance to be featured and win.
Submitting is simple and takes less than 10 minutes: All you need to contribute is to include:
✔ Project name + basic information
✔ Short project description
✔ Existing project photography
Sixteen projects will then be selected to compete head-to-head, with public voting determining which projects advance each round.
Why participate?
This is your chance to showcase your work on a global stage, gain visibility through InEight promotion, and celebrate the teams behind your most impactful projects.
The winning project will earn a featured editorial spread in ENR (or a publication of their choosing) and receive an award kit to mark the achievement.
Nominations are open, be sure to submit here.

❄️Day Four of InEight's 10 Days of Feature Favorites!❄️
As we move into Day Four, I’m excited to showcase a feature that puts more control into the hands of our users. I'm Brandi Heffner, VP of Product at InEight, and the strength of this feature lies in its ability to transform existing dashboards into customized, meaningful visual views that fit your unique needs.
Feature: Explore’s Dashboard Editing
Product: InEight Report and Explore
Where to Find It: Explore → Dashboard → Edit Dashboard
What I love about this feature is that it gives users the flexibility to tailor dashboards to fit the specialized needs of their project. Instead of starting from scratch, you can take the dashboards you have already created and tailor them to your needs, helping you modify and create new custom dashboards and visualizations. This enables teams to highlight the data that matters most, streamline the information they monitor, and adapt dashboards to match different roles or workflows.
Question for the Community: What dashboard views or metrics are most important for your day-to-day decision-making?
Re: Let's Gobble! Turkey? Sides? or Dessert
I'm going to have to go with unlisted Option E - Gravy.
Re: New Member Welcome Thread
Hi Everyone, I am with @Tomas, apologies for being late to the party, I am sure everyone knows how it goes.
I’m Morné, and I’ve been with DRA Global for the past six years, a journey that has taken me across several disciplines before bringing me to the digital and innovation space. My career started in process engineering, took a bit of a turn into mechanical engineering gradually expanding into project management, business management, and now global innovation. Today, I oversee our global innovation portfolio, with a strong focus on digital technologies and systems.
While I may not have the same breadth of experience in digital systems as some of you, I’m deeply passionate about technology, data, and finding smarter, more efficient ways of working. Over the last four years, much of this journey has centered on InEight, where we are now deploying the platform globally across our offices—a challenging but exciting process. I look forward to sharing success stories as we reach key milestones.
On a personal note, I enjoy camping with my family, tackling home improvement projects with my son, and unwinding over a beer with friends. I’m excited to connect with this forum, learn from your experiences, and contribute to building a strong community.

Hi everyone, it's great to join the InEight community, and sorry for being late to the party!
My name is Tomas Warnqvist, and I’m a director at Baseline in Norway, where I assist customers with project control across a broad spectrum—from choosing the right contract model, signing contractors or designers, building the scope of work, planning, and ensuring production stays on track.
Currently, I’m hired by the owner for a new airport project in Northern Norway as project control manager. I’ve been working on it since January 2022, and the first flight is scheduled for 2029!
I started my career in mining (I’m a mining engineer), moved into tunneling, then to mass haul on the surface, and now I work in offices. What drives me nowadays is finding efficient ways to leverage available software. There are as many tools as there are ways to waste money!
I’m a strong advocate for position-based planning and enjoy integrating systems that helps the project.
Long days usually mean I’m on-site, away from family, so to recharge, I hit the gym to burn off the day’s stress and then have dinner with my colleagues.

Hi everyone,
My name is Michal Daniel, I am a global IT service manager for project document and correspondence management at Hitachi Energy, I am based in Poland, Krakow.
I have over 10 years of experience in managing and implementing Document Management Systems both built in-house and industry standard solutions available on the market.
I've been responsible for rollout of Ineight in our organization and currently I am responsible for operations and continuous improvement of the system.
In Hitachi Energy we are currently using only one Ineight product - Ineight Document, but we have a very complex setup with a lot of business specific customizations that were necessary to cover complex demands coming from our customers for whom we are delivering our projects.
In Ineight we are running projects of different size, from very fast paced, small engagements to megaprojects running for years producing tens of thousands of documents.
My biggest achievement in Ineight journey is building and maintaining very close partnership with Ineight and being given an opportunity to influence product improvements by communicating complex business needs that become increasingly common within organizations running large scale projects.

Hi everyone,
My name’s Will, and I’m currently the InEight Application Manager at Downer Group.
Before joining Downer, I spent several years at InEight as a consultant, helping clients implement the suite. I decided to move to the client side to challenge my own assumptions about delivery and adoption—it’s been an eye-opener.
My biggest milestone so far has been leading Downer’s InEight implementation. While the team was learning the system, I was learning everything Downer. Together, we rolled out Control, Contract, Change, Plan & Progress, fully integrated with JD Edwards, in under nine months.
Outside of work (and away from the glow of three monitors), you’ll usually find me out on the trails with my dogs, exploring and resetting for the next challenge.
Looking forward to connecting and sharing lessons learned with the rest of the community.

My name is Andrew Hall I work for KBR in Australia in the PMO support team. I am the internal SME for InEight.
I have a very diverse background from Banking, Storeperson, Air Force Photographer, AutoCAD multi-discipline designer, database administrator, Engineering Data Management Team Lead and Consultant, InEight Administrator/SME, Product Owner and developer.
My biggest satisfaction in relation to InEight is using Power Automate to load data from the ERP into InEight, this saves 100 of hours a year and improves the accuracy.
My favourite way to recharge after a long day is pull out my Gibson LC-1, sing and play some songs both English and Chinese songs. Mind you the performance is for my eyes and ears only.
